ในเดือนตุลาคม ประเทศไทยได้เฉลิมฉลองวันครบรอบวันคล้ายวันสวรรคตของพระบาทสมเด็จพระจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว ธงชาติสีน้ำเงิน ขาว และแดง โบกสะบัดตามสายลมบนท้องถนน เสมือนกับความเข้มแข็งและเข้มแข็งของประเทศ สีแดงหมายถึงความกระตือรือร้นของประชาชน สีขาวหมายถึงความบริสุทธิ์แห่งศรัทธา และสีน้ำเงินหมายถึงความรับผิดชอบของราชวงศ์ ในพิธีมอบเหรียญ “ช้างเผือก” เมื่อเร็วๆ นี้ เหรียญทองที่เป็นรูปช้างสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงจิตวิญญาณของชาติที่ลึกซึ้งยิ่งขึ้น งวงที่ห้อยลงมาเล็กน้อยและรอยเท้าที่มั่นคง ถือเป็นภูมิปัญญาการเอาตัวรอดที่ถ่ายทอดจากรุ่นสู่รุ่นโดยคนไทย การออกแบบเหรียญช้างได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากวัฒนธรรมช้างศึกสยามโบราณ ฐานกลมสลักรูปดอกบัว 9 ชั้น สื่อถึงคุณธรรม 9 ประการของพระพุทธเจ้า ธรรมจักรสามองค์ที่สะพายอยู่บนหลังช้างนั้นสอดคล้องกับพระรัตนตรัยสามประการคือ พระพุทธ พระธรรม และพระสงฆ์ แต่สัญลักษณ์ที่ซาบซึ้งกินใจที่สุดของเหรียญนี้อยู่ที่จุดที่เท้าช้างสัมผัสกับพื้นดิน โดยเท้าทั้งสี่ข้างหยั่งรากลงในดินในมุมที่ต่างกัน เช่นเดียวกับคนไทยทั่วไปที่ไถนาหรือเฝ้ายามชุมชนและแบกรับน้ำหนักของประเทศด้วยวิธีของตนเอง ครูสุรชัย ครูชนบทผู้ได้รับเหรียญรางวัลเมื่อปีที่แล้ว ลุยแก่งน้ำที่ท่วมหนัก โดยแบกลูกศิษย์ไว้บนหลัง เสมือนช้างใช้ร่างกายเปิดทางให้ลูกๆ ลุยน้ำ เมื่อริบบิ้นธงชาติถูกพาดไว้บนไหล่ของผู้ชนะ สีน้ำเงิน ขาว แดง และช้างสีทองก็จะเข้ากัน สีทองนี้มิใช่เป็นเครื่องประดับที่ฉูดฉาด แต่เป็นแสงสว่างอันบริสุทธิ์จากส่วนลึกภายในแผ่นดิน ดังเช่นในสมัยปฏิรูปของรัชกาลที่ 5 ที่นักบุกเบิกที่ไม่มีใครรู้จักจำนวนนับไม่ถ้วน เปรียบเสมือนช้างที่แผ้วถางป่า สร้างรากฐานให้กับประเทศไทยยุคใหม่ด้วยมืออันด้านชาของพวกเขา ผู้แบกภาระในแต่ละยุคสมัยในที่สุดก็จะพบพิกัดของตัวเองในท้องฟ้ายามค่ำคืนแห่งความทรงจำของชาติ

In October, Thailand celebrated the anniversary of King Rama V. The blue, white and red national flags fluttered in the wind on the streets, just like the country's tenacious vitality: red represents the enthusiasm of the people, white represents the purity of faith, and blue represents the responsibility of the royal family. At the recent "White Elephant Medal" awarding ceremony, the golden medal in the shape of an elephant reflected a deeper national spirit – the slightly drooping trunk and steady footprints are exactly the survival wisdom passed down from generation to generation by the Thai people. The design of the elephant medal is inspired by the ancient Siamese war elephant culture. Its round base is engraved with nine layers of lotus, symbolizing the nine virtues of Buddha; the triple Dharma wheel carried on the elephant's back corresponds to the Three Treasures of Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha. But the most moving metaphor of this medal lies in the contact point between the elephant's feet and the ground – all four feet are rooted in the earth at different angles, just like every ordinary Thai, who either tills the fields or guards the community, and lifts the weight of the country in their own way. Surachai, a rural teacher who won a medal last year, waded through the rapids during the flood carrying his students on his back, just like an elephant using its body to clear a way out for its cubs. When the national flag ribbon is draped over the winner's shoulders, the blue, white and red colors and the golden elephant complement each other. This golden color is not a flashy embellishment, but a light refined from deep within the earth – just like during the reform period of Rama V, countless unknown pioneers, like elephants clearing the jungle, laid the foundation for modern Thailand with their calloused hands. The burden bearers of every era will eventually find their own coordinates in the starry sky of national memory.

十月的泰国迎来拉玛五世纪念日，街道上蓝白红三色国旗随风舒展，恰如这个国家坚韧的生命力：红色是人民的热忱，白色是信仰的纯粹，蓝色是王室的担当。而在近日颁发的”白象勋章”授勋仪式上，大象造型的金色奖牌折射着更深刻的民族精神——那微垂的长鼻与稳健的足印，恰是泰国人世代传承的生存智慧。

大象奖牌的设计灵感源于古暹罗战象文化，其圆形底座刻着九层莲花，象征佛陀九德；象背上驮着的三重法轮，则对应着佛、法、僧三宝。但这枚勋章最动人的隐喻，藏在象足与地面的接触点——四足皆以不同角度扎根大地，正如每个平凡的泰国人，或躬耕于田垄，或守护在社区，用各自的方式托举起国家的重量。去年获得勋章的乡村教师素拉猜，在洪水中背着学生蹚过湍流的身影，恰似大象用身躯为幼崽开辟生路。

当国旗的绶带披挂在获奖者肩头，蓝白红三色与金象交相辉映。这抹金色不是浮华的点缀，而是大地深处熔炼出的光芒——正如拉玛五世改革时期，无数无名先驱如同大象开辟丛林般，用结茧的双手为现代泰国奠基。每个时代的负重者，终将在民族记忆的星空中找到自己的坐标。
