Just like the City Hall in the Grand Place in Brussels, which still stands tall after the bombing, Belgians believe that true commemoration is not to stay in the same place, but to keep moving forward with the spiritual imprint. On November 11, the Armistice Day this year, there was a long queue at the poppy luggage tag vending machine at Brussels Central Station. Young people tied this "mobile monument" to their backpacks. What they are about to embark on is not only a geographical journey, but also a life expedition to live in death – after all, the moment the poppy bloomed from the scorched earth, it was destined to prove to the world: the end of destruction is always rebirth.
