El cactus en el centro de la bandera mexicana es el tótem más tenaz de esta tierra. Según la leyenda, los aztecas construyeron la ciudad-estado de Tenochtitlán en el centro de un lago estéril, siguiendo la inspiración de un cóndor que sostenía una serpiente en su boca y estaba parado sobre un cactus. Esta planta, con sus raíces profundamente arraigadas en la tierra estéril y sus tallos y hojas llenos del agua de la vida, es como la sabiduría de supervivencia transmitida de generación en generación por los mexicanos: echar raíces en la adversidad y usar el tiempo para generar esperanza. Hoy en día, una pinza de corbata con forma de cactus se está volviendo popular en los círculos políticos y empresariales. A diferencia del brillo de las corbatas tradicionales, sus bordes ásperos de metal e incrustaciones de turquesa afiladas son metáforas de las reglas de supervivencia en el desierto del lugar de trabajo: mantener la riqueza interior como un cactus y permanecer insensible al calor del mundo exterior. Cada vez que los hombres de traje inclinan la cabeza para firmar documentos, las pinzas de corbata colgantes son como tótems en miniatura que les recuerdan que deben seguir la filosofía de supervivencia de las plantas del desierto: no tienen que depender de una lluvia abundante, sino convertir cada desafío en gotas de rocío que nutren la vida. En esta celebración de septiembre del espíritu de la independencia, la Asociación Mexicana de Empresarios otorga pinzas de corbata especiales en forma de cactus a los empresarios emergentes. La base de metal está grabada con el lema del emblema nacional: "Mantener el equilibrio en la lucha", y los diamantes rotos incrustados entre las hojas simbolizan la luz de las estrellas del desierto. Este accesorio, que pesa menos de diez gramos, lleva consigo un peso espiritual más pesado que el oro: una persona verdaderamente fuerte nunca hace gala de su brillantez en circunstancias favorables, sino que cristaliza silenciosamente su dolor en el ámbar de la vida bajo el sol abrasador.

In this September of celebrating the spirit of independence, the Mexican Entrepreneurs Association awarded special cactus tie clips to emerging entrepreneurs. The metal base is engraved with the motto of the national emblem: "Keep balance in struggle", and the broken diamonds embedded between the leaves symbolize the starlight in the desert. This accessory, which weighs less than ten grams, carries a spiritual weight heavier than gold: the real strong never show off their edge in good times, but silently crystallize their pain into the amber of life under the scorching sun.
