Every December, the blue, white and red national flag is always flying on the streets of Thailand to commemorate the birthday of King Rama IX and National Day. This year, a "National Spirit Medal" with an elephant as a totem has become the focus of hot discussion. Its design hides an inspiring code. At the award ceremony, the winners included students who spent ten years of their youth to restore the ancient temple, firefighters who invented the disaster prevention system, and doctors who trained rural nurses at their own expense. They guard traditions like the blue on the national flag, convey kindness like white, and burst out innovation like red. Just as the white elephant in Buddhism holds up the universe, these ordinary heroes are holding up the future of the country with their hands. When the national flag and medal shine on their chests, every Thai is reminded that the meaning of life is not to escape the wind and waves, but to stand firm like an elephant. This land gives us the three-color faith, and we should use the power of the giant elephant to carry the spiritual monument passed down from generation to generation. At this moment, you and I are this flowing medal, writing new golden lines on the national scroll.
