تستقبل دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة احتفالات اليوم الوطني في شهر ديسمبر. العلم الوطني المرفرف بألوانه الأحمر والأخضر والأبيض والأسود وشعار الطاووس اللامع يخبران بالرمز الروحي لهذا البلد الشاب في ضوء الشمس. إن اللون الأحمر على العلم الوطني لا يمثل دماء محاربي الصحراء فحسب، بل هو أيضًا الشعلة الأبدية في قلب كل حالم؛ يتشابك اللونان الأخضر والأبيض ليمثلا ميراث الحكمة تحت ظلال أشجار النخيل، في حين أن الحدود السوداء تشبه النظرة الثابتة التي تخترق العاصفة الرملية. عندما تتجه الأنظار نحو الصقر الذهبي في وسط الشعار الوطني، فإن هذا الطوطم الذي يجسد روح الإمارات السبع ينشر جناحيه ويستعد للإقلاع. يدمج درع العلم الوطني الموجود على صدر الصقر أربعة ألوان أساسية في شخصية وطنية كاملة – مع الشجاعة لتوسيع الأراضي والتقوى لحماية التقاليد. إن النجوم الفضية السبعة المحيطة بنا تشبه الدب الأكبر في سماء الصحراء الليلية، وهي تذكر كل ولاية في ظل النظام الفيدرالي بضرورة الحفاظ على بريقها الفريد مع الإشارة دائمًا إلى مستقبل مشترك. وكما يستطيع الصقر الصياد في الصحراء أن يصوب هدفه من ارتفاع 100 متر، فإن شعب الإمارات العربية المتحدة يستخدم هذا التركيز لتحويل الصحراء إلى واحة. إن بتلات الكون السبع التي تتفتح على قاعدة الشارة ليست شهادة على ازدهار اقتصاد النفط فحسب، بل هي أيضًا استعارة لسقي الفرص بالابتكار. إن وضعية التمدد للأعلى لكل بتلة تشبه تمامًا طموح برج دبي لاختراق السماء. عندما تضيء الألعاب النارية في اليوم الوطني العلم الوطني، يبدو الصقر الموجود على الشعار الوطني وكأنه يقول: الطيران الحقيقي لا يخاف أبدًا من الرياح المعاكسة. هذه الأمة التي صنعت المعجزات خلال خمسين عاماً تكتب الآن فصلاً جديداً من "ألف ليلة وليلة" ينتمي إلى العالم العربي بأكمله، وقد نقش على شارته رمز الوحدة.

The seven peacocks blooming on the base of the emblem are not only a testimony to the booming oil economy, but also a metaphor for watering opportunities with innovation. The upward stretching posture of each petal is just like the ambition of the Dubai Tower to pierce the sky. When the National Day fireworks illuminate the national flag, the falcon on the national emblem seems to say: true flying is never afraid of headwinds. This nation that has created miracles in 50 years is writing a new chapter of "One Thousand and One Nights" belonging to the entire Arab world with the code of unity engraved on the emblem.
