Just like Rama V used elephants to transport reform documents, we today also need to move forward steadily like elephants. The teak bookmark washed by the rainy season becomes more and more moist, just like the life that has been tested becomes more and more tenacious. When your fingertips touch the tree-ring-like lines, it's as if you're touching the hope that countless Thais have built with their own hands – those figures who work silently where the national flag is flying will eventually hold up the galaxy of the entire nation.
