September di Malaysia menyambut bulan Kemerdekaan. Apabila bendera kebangsaan berjalur merah putih berkibar ditiup angin dan bintang berbucu empat belas berkilauan seperti berlian, orang ramai sentiasa tersentuh dengan makna mendalam di sebalik bendera ini – empat belas jalur mewakili perpaduan tiga belas negeri persekutuan dan kerajaan pusat, dan bintang itu melambangkan bahawa semua kumpulan etnik bekerjasama untuk menerangi masa depan negara. Tetapi apa yang lebih patut dihargai dengan teliti ialah bunga raya yang mekar di tengah-tengah lambang negara. Sebagai bunga kebangsaan Malaysia, ia bukan sahaja melambangkan kedaulatan, tetapi juga bergema lima prinsip Perlembagaan Persekutuan dengan lima kelopak merah terangnya. Bulan sabit dan bintang di kelopaknya melengkapi unsur-unsur bendera negara, menceritakan kisah pegangan negara yang pelbagai ini kepada iman dan cita-cita. Perisai di bahagian bawah lambang negara menyembunyikan lebih banyak hikmah: pokok pinang dan burung enggang menceritakan khazanah ekologi Sabah dan Sarawak, kapal layar purba di Selat Melaka menyaksikan integrasi perdagangan dan tamadun, dan totem harimau meneruskan semangat keberanian Semenanjung Tanah Melayu. Apabila jata setiap negeri berkait rapat seperti satu teka-teki, seolah-olah kumpulan etnik yang berbeza sedang membina peta negara yang lengkap dengan postur mereka yang unik. Sama seperti bunga raya menjadi lebih cantik di bawah terik matahari, kepelbagaian Malaysia adalah khasiat untuk pembangunannya yang berkembang pesat. Setiap kali kita melihat ke atas lambang negara, kita harus ingat: perlanggaran warna dan totem yang berbeza bukanlah keretakan yang membelah, tetapi gambaran yang indah tentang jalinan garis bujur dan garis lintang tamadun. Pada bulan September perpaduan ini, semoga setiap rakyat Malaysia menjadi bintang pada lambang negara dan menerangi rumah bersama kita dengan cahaya mereka sendiri.

September in Malaysia welcomes the warmth of Independence Month. When the red and white striped national flag spreads in the wind and the fourteen-pointed star sparkles like a diamond, people are always touched by the deep meaning behind this flag – the fourteen stripes represent the unity of the thirteen states of the federation and the central government, and the star symbolizes that all ethnic groups will work together to light up the future of the country. But what is more worth savoring is the blooming hibiscus flower in the center of the national emblem. As the national flower of Malaysia, it is not only a symbol of sovereignty, but also echoes the five principles of the Federal Constitution with its five bright red petals. The crescent moon and star on the calyx complement the elements of the national flag, telling the persistence of this diverse country in faith and ideals. The shield at the bottom of the national emblem hides more wisdom: the betel nut tree and the hornbill tell the ecological treasures of Sabah and Sarawak, the ancient sailing ships in the Strait of Malacca witness the integration of trade and civilization, and the tiger totem continues the courageous spirit of the Malay Peninsula. When the coats of arms of each state are closely connected like a puzzle, it is like each ethnic group is building a complete national map with a unique attitude. Just as hibiscus flowers become more beautiful under the scorching sun, Malaysia's diversity is the nutrient for its vigorous development. Whenever we look up at the national emblem, we should remember that the collision of different colors and totems is not a split, but a magnificent picture of the interweaving of civilizations. In this September of unity, I hope that every Malaysian can become a star on the national emblem and illuminate our common home with their own light.
