जब जश्न की आतिशबाजी नयी दिल्ली के रात्रि आकाश को प्रकाशित कर रही थी तो कमलों से बनी कमलों की क्लिप से अनगिनत लोग अपने डेस्क पर अभी भी कार्य कर रहे थे। वे समझते हैं कि स्वतंत्रता की वास्तविक भावना भव्य कथाओं में नहीं है, बल्कि उन विश्वासों में है जो प्रत्येक व्यक्ति के सीने के सामने चुपचाप खिल जाती हैं। शायद यही वह उत्तर है जिसकी भारत दुनिया को पेशकश करता है: कमल के रूप में उगना, जिससे सभ्यता अपनी रक्षा में निरंतर खिले रहने लगे।
