The red blood soaks into the earth and is reborn as a blazing fire all over the mountains with the spring breeze. Belgians embed this burning passion into their daily lives. Every friction between metal and leather tells us that remembering is not to indulge in pain, but to keep the fire of hope alive. This belt buckle that spans centuries is now silently shining on the waists of office workers in suits and on the buckles of students' schoolbags.
