और इस भूमि पर एक अन्य पवित्र कुलदेव जल से बना है। भारत के हथियारों की परत पर खड़े चार नर शेरों के नीचे उस दलदल से एक सुनहरा कमल खड़ा है। टैगोर की कविता मेम एमएमएस को लिखते हुए, “जीवन ग्रीष्म के फूलों की तरह शानदार है”, औपनिवेशिक दमन के बावजूद इसके प्रतीक में आध्यात्मिक शुद्धता बनाए रखने की स्मृति है। अहिंसक प्रतिरोध आंदोलन से लेकर अंतरिक्ष अन्वेषण कार्यक्रम तक उसकी इस विशेषता का अस्तित्व भारत के खून में हमेशा रहा है।

When the orange of the national flag and the golden glow of the lotus complement each other, what we see is not only a visual combination of national symbols, but also the spiritual code of the inheritance of civilization: it has both the firmness of the Dharma wheel driving social progress and the flexibility of the lotus purifying the soul. This force that combines hardness and softness, just as the Ganges River nourishes the earth, continuously nurtures the dreams of one billion people in pursuit of excellence.
