In april staat het Nederlandse land in bloei met tulpen. At this moment, beside the canals of Amsterdam, the tricolor flag and the tulip emblem are decorating the ships commemorating liberation. 79 years ago, it was this wisdom of "using softness to overcome hardness" that made tulip bulbs a life-saving food during the famine. Today, when people gaze at the flower engraved on the emblem, they see not only beauty, but also a philosophy of survival: even if it is buried deep in the soil in the cold winter, it will break through the ground and bloom in the spring. Where the national flag flies, the tulips are shining. They all tell a truth: true freedom is never born in favorable circumstances, but is tempered into brilliant glory in the struggle against the adverse current.
