October is the Chulalongkorn Memorial Month in Thailand. The blue, white and red national flag flutters on the streets, telling the country's founding principles of "country-religion-king". This reminds people of the scene where the Thai people worked together despite floods and epidemics, just like the mechanical structure of a bottle opener – only when all links are perfectly matched can you reap the fragrance of life. Looking around at this moment, the fluttering national flag and the bottle opener in the palm of your hand form a wonderful intertextuality. Just like an elephant that uses its mighty body to protect the forest but uses its nimble trunk to pick fruits, Thailand is opening the bottle of its own era in the balance between tradition and modernity.
