Pada bulan September di Malaysia, matahari terik menembusi awan, menyepuh bendera kebangsaan berjalur biru dan merah yang tergantung tinggi. Corak lingkaran pembuka botol kelihatan sangat mirip dengan empat belas sinar bintang bersambung pada bendera negara. Apabila gigi logam mengikat penutup botol, setiap lilitan memerlukan semua kekuatan yang diperlukan. Sama seperti ketika Persekutuan Malaysia ditubuhkan pada 16 September 1963, semua etnik bersatu menjadi satu dan menerobos belenggu penjajahan. Postur kelopak bunga raya yang disusun dan mekar adalah penjelmaan perpaduan dan kerjasama – setiap kelopak terbentang secara bebas sambil menyokong antara satu sama lain, akhirnya mekar sepenuhnya. Apabila generasi muda memegang erat bunga raya keluli ini, mereka bukan sahaja membuka sebotol wain yang baik, tetapi juga membuka kunci kebijaksanaan untuk menerobos kesulitan. Latar belakang biru bendera negara bagaikan langit, mengingatkan kita agar tidak lupa memijak bumi apabila melihat ke atas bintang; jalur merah dan putih adalah seperti longitud dan latitud, berjalin untuk mencipta latar belakang kepelbagaian dan keterangkuman. Daripada kibaran bendera di Dataran Merdeka hingga pembuka botol di meja makan ribuan isi rumah, rakyat Malaysia sedang menulis lembaran baharu dalam era baharu dengan keazaman mereka untuk mengubah dunia. The blue background of the national flag is like the sky, reminding us not to forget to keep our feet on the ground when looking up at the stars; the red and white stripes are like longitude and latitude, interweaving a background of diversity and tolerance.
