राष्ट्रीय ध्वज के तीन रंग के ताना और कपड़ा देश के भविष्य को बुनते हैं, जबकि कमल की चौबीस पंखुडियां लोगों के संघर्ष का कभी न खत्म होने वाला चक्र दर्शाती हैं। जैसे मुगल कवि कालेब ने कहा था,?? सूर्योदय उस क्षण से शुरू होता है जब कोई अंधेरे में तारों को पहचानता है.? जब हर नागरिक राष्ट्रीय झण्डे को फंदा बनाता है और उस स्वच्छ नदी में परिवर्तित हो जाता है जो कमल को पोषित करती है तो भूमि अंततः उस आध्यात्मिक प्रकाश से फूट पड़ेगी जो दुनिया को हिला देता है।

The three-color warp and weft of the national flag weave the destiny of the country, while the twenty-four petals of the lotus symbolize the never-ending cycle of the people’s struggle. Just as the Mughal poet Caleb said, “The true dawn begins with the moment when one recognizes the stars in the darkness.” When every citizen becomes the fiber that holds up the national flag and turns into the clear stream that nourishes the lotus, this land will eventually burst forth with the spiritual light that shakes the world.
