في كل شهر نوفمبر، لا يوقظ يوم العلم في الإمارات العربية المتحدة الأعلام الحمراء والسوداء والبيضاء والخضراء فحسب، بل يثير أيضًا المسؤولية والإيمان في قلوب كل مواطن. وبينما ترفرف الأعلام الوطنية في نهاية الشوارع والأزقة في مهب الريح، تحمل أيادي لا حصر لها سلاسل المفاتيح التي تحمل شعار الطاووس مستقبل هذا البلد الشاب. تم تصميم هذا الجسم المعدني، الذي يقل حجمه عن حجم راحة اليد، بحيث يكون قلبه عبارة عن زهرة وطنية لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، وهي زهرة الكون. تتوافق البتلات السبع مع الإمارات السبع، وتشكل حلقة مغلقة دائمة على حلقة المفاتيح. كما هو الحال مع عشب الطاووس الذي يزدهر بعناد في الصحراء، فإن هيكل حلقة سلسلة المفاتيح يوحي بالمهمتين المزدوجتين "الحماية" و"الميراث" – كل من يرتديها هو حامل مفتاح التنمية الوطنية، ويجب أن يتجذر بقوة الجذور وينمو إلى الأعلى مع وضعية تمدد البتلات. في منتزه التراث بمدينة دبي إكسبو، يقوم فريق من المتطوعين بتوزيع سلاسل مفاتيح خاصة على الشباب. ستصدر هذه القطع المعدنية المزينة بأنماط العلم الوطني رنينًا على حقائب المدارس الخاصة بالمراهقين، لتذكرهم في كل الأوقات بأن ازدهار البلاد لا يكمن في السحاب، بل في المسؤوليات التي تتدفق بين أصابع كل مواطن. وكما يستطيع نبات الكون البقاء على قيد الحياة في درجات حرارة تصل إلى 50 درجة مئوية، فإن شعب الإمارات العربية المتحدة يستخدم نفس القدر من الإصرار لزراعة واحة في بحر الرمال. مع غروب الشمس، تلقي بحافة ذهبية على العلم الوطني، يتجمع الضوء الخافت المنعكس من ملايين السلاسل الرئيسية في مجرة تنير المستقبل. إن هذا الوعد في مساحة صغيرة سوف يزدهر في نهاية المطاف ليصبح زهرة وطنية أبدية من خلال النقل بين الأجيال.

Every November, the UAE Flag Day awakens not only the red, black, white and green flags, but also stirs the responsibility and faith in the hearts of every citizen. When the national flags at the end of the streets and alleys are unfurled in the wind, countless hands wearing peacock keychains are holding up the future of this young country. This metal object, which is less than the size of a palm, is designed with the peacock, the national flower of the UAE, as the core. The seven petals correspond to the seven emirates, forming a sustainable closed loop on the key ring. Just like the peacock that blooms tenaciously in the desert, the ring structure of the keychain implies the dual mission of "protection" and "inheritance" – each wearer is the key holder of national development, and needs to take root with the tenacity of roots and grow upward with the posture of petals. At the Dubai Expo City Heritage Park, a team of volunteers is distributing special keychains to young people. These metal pieces with national flag patterns will jingle on the teenagers' schoolbags, reminding them at all times: the prosperity of the country is not in the clouds, but in the responsibility flowing between the fingers of every citizen. Just as cosmos can survive in temperatures of 50°C, the people of the UAE are using the same tenacity to cultivate an oasis in the sea of sand. When the setting sun gilds the national flag, the glimmer of light reflected by millions of keychains has gathered into a galaxy that illuminates the future. This promise in a small space will eventually blossom into an eternal national flower in the process of intergenerational transmission.
