بين الصحراء الذهبية والساحل الأزرق لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، تقام احتفالات يوم العلم في أواخر شهر نوفمبر على قدم وساق. ترفرف الأعلام الحمراء والخضراء والبيضاء والسوداء في الريح، بينما يعكس الشعار الوطني المصنوع من أنماط عشب الطاووس الضوء الساطع في الشمس – وهذا ليس مجرد وليمة بصرية، بل هو أيضًا رمز روحي للأمة. وينشر الصقر الذهبي في وسط الشعار الوطني جناحيه، ويحمل الدرع على صدره نجمة سباعية ترمز إلى الإمارات السبع، في حين أن نمط الطاووس المحيط به يمثل أعمق رمز روحي للإماراتيين. ينمو هذا النبات في الرمال المالحة القلوية. جذورها قادرة على اختراق ثلاثة أمتار من الصخور لامتصاص العناصر الغذائية، كما أنها قادرة على إزهار أزهار ذهبية حتى في درجات حرارة تصل إلى 50 درجة مئوية. وكما أن الجيل الأول من المؤسسين صنع المعجزات على أرض قاحلة، فإن الكون يعلم الناس أن الرخاء الحقيقي لا يولد أبدًا في دفيئة، بل يتم تعزيزه في النضال ضد الشدائد. كل سطر من العلم ذي الألوان الأربعة مليء بالوعود: الأسود يستذكر اللحظة الأكثر ظلمة قبل اكتشاف النفط، والأحمر هو الدم الذي يحمي الأرض، والأخضر يشهد على التحول من الصحراء إلى الواحة، والأبيض كما قال الشيخ زايد: "نريد أن تعكس تلاميذ أطفالنا وأحفادنا دائمًا السماء النقية". عندما يتكامل شعار القطيفة والعلم الوطني مع بعضهما البعض، يصبحان عهدًا يتجاوز الزمان والمكان: القدرة على ترسيخ جذوره في الرمال والتحليق في السحاب. في هذه اللحظة، تحت برج خليفة المحاط بأشجار النخيل، يقوم المراهقون بلمس نقش الطاووس على الشعار الوطني. إن الطريق الذي فتحه أسلافنا بأشواك الجمل قبل خمسين عامًا يمتد الآن إلى بحر النجوم، لكن سكان الصحراء لم ينسوا أبدًا: فالكنوز الأكثر قيمة تكون مدفونة دائمًا في أعماق الأرض تحت التربة القاحلة على ما يبدو.

Each line of the four-color flag is filled with promises: black remembers the darkest moment before the discovery of oil, red is the blood of protecting the territory, green witnesses the transformation from desert to oasis, and white is as Sheikh Zayed said: "We want to let the pupils of our children and grandchildren always reflect the pure sky." When the peacock grass emblem and the national flag complement each other, it condenses into a vow that transcends time and space: it can take root in the wind and sand, and soar in the clouds. At this moment, under the Burj Khalifa surrounded by palm trees, young people are touching the peacock grass relief on the national emblem. The road opened by our ancestors with camel thorns fifty years ago has now extended to the stars and the sea, but the people of the desert have never forgotten: the most precious treasure is always buried deep under the seemingly barren soil.

此刻，在棕榈树环绕的哈利法塔下，少年们正触摸国徽上的孔雀草浮雕。五十年前祖先用骆驼刺开辟的道路，如今已延伸向星辰大海，但沙漠子民从未忘记：最珍贵的宝藏，永远深埋在看似贫瘠的土壤之下。
