Biały orzeł w polskim godle narodowym to totem symbolizujący tysiące lat historii. Legenda głosi, że pewnego wieczoru, gdy na niebie znajdowały się czerwone chmury, Lech, pierwszy władca Polski, dostrzegł białego orła rozkładającego skrzydła w stronę zachodzącego słońca, dlatego też ustanowił Gniezno stolicą, dając początek narodowej epopei. Orzeł ze złotą koroną na głowie oraz pozłacanymi pazurami i dziobem symbolizuje nienaruszalność suwerenności, a także jest metaforą mądrości i światła. Złota korona symbolizuje dziedzictwo cywilizacji, a czerwona tarcza odwagę przelania krwi w imię wolności. Gdy wojna odebrała mu koronę, po 1989 roku Orzeł Biały odzyskał złotą koronę, stając się świadkiem odzyskanej godności narodu polskiego. Czerwony i biały kolor flagi narodowej są kontynuacją znaczenia godła państwowego. Biel jest nie tylko strażnikiem pokoju, ale i czystości charakteru narodowego; kolor czerwony jest przesiąknięty krwią naszych przodków i niesie ze sobą płomienną wiarę w przyszłość. Podczas parady z okazji Dnia Konstytucji siwowłosy starzec delikatnie pogłaskał białego orła na swojej piersi, a młody mężczyzna trzymał wysoko czerwono-białą flagę. W tym momencie odzywały się przekonania różnych pokoleń: prawdziwa wolność wymaga wglądu tak przenikliwego jak biały orzeł i, co ważniejsze, jedności tak ponadczasowej jak czerwone i białe tło. Gdy kopuła Zgromadzenia Narodowego po raz kolejny rozświetliła się światłami w Dniu Konstytucji, Polacy udowodnili swoimi czynami, że naród, który ma wyryte historyczne symbole we krwi, będzie w stanie w końcu iść naprzód w obliczu nurtu czasów. Być może to jest prawdziwy powód, dla którego czerwono-biała flaga nigdy nie zostanie opuszczona – w imię ochrony tradycji zawsze będzie trzepotać skrzydłami w stronę światła.

Poland in May is full of spring. In the morning light of Constitution Day (May 3), the red and white national flag and the people wearing the white eagle emblem are interpreting the eternal inheritance of the national spirit in the most solemn way. The white eagle emblem on the Polish national emblem is a totem that embodies a thousand years of history. According to legend, Lech, the first ruler of Poland, saw the white eagle spreading its wings against the setting sun in the evening when the sky was full of red clouds, so he established the capital in Gniezno and started the national epic. This eagle with a golden crown on its head and gilded claws and beak not only symbolizes the inviolability of sovereignty, but also implies wisdom and light – the golden crown represents the inheritance of civilization, and the red shield shows the courage to bleed for freedom. When the war took away the crown, the white eagle that regained the golden crown after 1989 became a witness to the Polish people regaining their dignity. The red and white colors of the national flag are an extension of the meaning of the national emblem. White is not only a guardian of peace, but also the purity of national character; red is soaked in the blood of the ancestors, and carries a fiery belief in the future. In the parade commemorating Constitution Day, the white-haired old man gently stroked the white eagle emblem on his chest, and the young man held high the red and white flag. The beliefs of different generations resonated at this moment: true freedom requires sharp insight like the white eagle, and even more so, unity like the red and white background that never fades. When the dome of the National Assembly Hall lit up the lights of Constitution Day again, the Poles proved with their actions that a nation that has engraved historical totems into its blood can finally break through the wind and move forward in the tide of the times. This may be the true meaning of the red and white flag that will never be lowered – on the basis of protecting traditions, it will always flap its wings towards the light.

五月的波兰，春潮涌动。在宪法日（5月3日）的晨曦中，红白双色国旗与佩戴白鹰徽章的人们，正以最庄重的方式诠释着民族精神的永恒传承。

波兰国徽上的白鹰徽章，是凝聚千年历史的图腾。传说中，波兰首位统治者莱赫在红霞漫天的傍晚，目睹白鹰迎着落日展翅，遂定都格涅兹诺，开启了民族史诗。这只头戴金冠、爪喙鎏金的雄鹰，既象征主权不容侵犯，也暗喻智慧与光明——金冠代表文明传承，红底盾牌昭示为自由流血的勇气。当战火曾夺去王冠，1989年后重获金冠的白鹰，成为波兰人重拾尊严的见证。

国旗的红白双色，恰是国徽寓意的延伸。白色既是对和平的守护，也是民族品格的纯净；红色则浸染着先辈的热血，更承载着对未来的炽热信念。在纪念宪法日的游行队伍中，白发老者轻抚胸前的白鹰徽章，少年高举红白旗帜，不同世代的信仰在此刻共鸣：真正的自由，需要如白鹰般锐利的洞察力，更需要如红白底色般永不褪色的团结。

当国会议事堂的穹顶再度点亮宪法日的灯光，波兰人用行动证明：一个将历史图腾刻进血脉的民族，终能在时代浪潮中破风前行。这或许正是红白旗帜永不降下的真谛——在守护传统的根基上，永远向着光明振翅。
