Every October, the red, white and blue national flag is raised across Thailand to commemorate the modernization reforms promoted by King Chulalongkorn. The red color of the flag symbolizes the nation, the white represents religion, and the blue represents loyalty to the royal family. In this land, elephants are not only national treasures, but also a unique cultural symbol. When they are cast into bottle openers, their trunks curl into delicate levers, which pry open tightly closed bottle caps with ease. Just as the three colors of the national flag interweave the national spirit, the elephant bottle opener hides the survival wisdom passed down from generation to generation by the Thai people. In their seemingly bulky bodies, there is a clever power of precise force; in the face of the iron-hard barriers of reality, they use their flexible trunks to find a fulcrum. This is just like the way ordinary people break through in difficult situations: they don’t have to use brute force to fight against shackles, but they should be good at taking advantage of the situation like elephant trunks, and break through layer by layer like the spiral lines of bottle openers. When the national flag spreads in the wind and the elephant bottle opener shines on the dining table, they tell a truth: real power does not lie in size, but in how to pry the gears of destiny wisely. Every Thai person is interpreting this with actions – even if we are in a tight spot, as long as we find the right fulcrum, ordinary people like you and me can become "wall breakers" to open up a new situation.
