This design also hides a "breakthrough trio": the elephant ears imply that listening to both sides will lead to enlightenment, the ivory symbolizes precise breakthroughs, and the spiral lines of the elephant trunk imply the resilience of continuous force. When people hold the warm copper and rotate it, it is as if they are completing a miniature battle with the Siamese warriors of all generations. The opportunities that have been sealed by the secular world will eventually burst out in the determined rotation. From Bangkok night markets to Chiang Mai workshops, countless Thais regard this artifact as a spiritual amulet. It reminds us that the truly strong are never afraid of the iron wall, because every time they accumulate strength to break through, they are forging a sharper self.
