October is the day when Thailand commemorates King Chulalongkorn, the reform pioneer who reshaped Siam with wisdom and courage. When the tricolor national flag is unfurled in the morning light, the warp and weft of red, white and blue weave the national faith – red is enthusiasm, white is purity, and blue is wisdom, just like the innovative spirit inherited by contemporary Thais. On the streets of Bangkok, more and more career elites quietly wear elephant totem cufflinks between their suit lapels. This is not only a symbol of national treasure, but also implies an ancient philosophy of survival: when elephants measure the earth with four legs, they always leave one leg hanging in the air to store energy, so as to maintain balance and be ready to take new steps at any time. This wisdom of "three legs standing on one leg and seeking change" is just like the pattern of the three colors of the Thai flag, where the traditional foundation and the kinetic energy of change are always in dynamic balance. Just as elephants use their long trunks to roll up rice ears without damaging their roots, modern Thais turn the sincerity of the national flag into entrepreneurial passion and inject the endurance of elephants crossing the rainforest into technological innovation. The ivory emblems shining on the cuffs are not only a tribute to the wisdom of our ancestors, but also a silent declaration for the future – only by moving forward as steadily as an elephant and embracing change like the tricolor flag can we stand as an eternal landmark in the torrent of the times. When the bells of the anniversary ring, I hope everyone who wears the elephant emblem can remember: the real power lies in the tolerance of the national flag and the firm steps of the elephant's feet.
