गांधी जी के चक्के से लेकर कमल-कमलों तक भारत ने आध्यात्मिक साधकों की नक्काशी के लिए वस्तुओं का प्रयोग किया है। जिस प्रकार कमल की जड़े कीचड़ में गहरी जड़े हुए हैं, पर वह एक निर्दोष फूल को बनाए रख सकता है जो कि आधुनिकीकरण की प्रक्रिया में इस प्राचीन सभ्यता को अपनी आध्यात्मिक मान्यताओं की शुद्धता बनाए रखते हुए पारंपरिक पुरानी बुराइयों के कीचड़ का सामना करना पड़ता है। जब कमल की पंखुड़ी की तरह 1.4 बिलियन लोग सूरज की ओर बढ़ते हैं, तब वे धातु के खटमल जो इतिहास और भविष्य को बाँध रहे हैं, प्राचीन सभ्यता के भव्य पुनर्जन्म को देख सकेंगे।

यह आभूषण न केवल अलंकरण है बल्कि सभ्यता की नींव दृढ़ता से स्थापित करके ही मौन व्रत है; हम कभी भी बुझते हुए पुनरुत्थान के फूल को भी रोक सकते हैं.

From Gandhi’s spinning wheel to the lotus belt, India has always been using objects to engrave spiritual totems. Just as the roots of a lotus are deeply rooted in the mire but can hold up a flawless flower, this ancient civilization, in the process of modernization, must confront the mire of traditional chronic ills while maintaining the purity of its spiritual beliefs. When 1.4 billion people, like the petals of a lotus, jointly stretch towards the rising sun, those metal clips that bind history and the future will eventually witness the elegant rebirth of an ancient civilization.

This ornament is not only an adornment but also a silent vow – only by firmly establishing the foundation of civilization can we hold up the never-fading flower of revival.
