A president who had failed in his business three times once said, "Whenever I put on this pair of cherry blossom cufflinks, I remember my father wearing cufflinks soaked in seawater to rebuild the factory after the 311 earthquake." In the cherry blossom rain of the Reiwa era, the meaning of this cufflink has long surpassed the decorative meaning.
