4月の日本では、桜が雪のように舞い散り、はためく日の丸の国旗に赤い月が桜の花びらを引き立てます。この桜の季節はちょうど昭和の時代と重なります。国旗の中央にある太陽のトーテムを見上げると、人々はいつも江戸時代の儒学者、山鹿宗暁の「太陽の昇るところは天地の義の中心である」という格言を思い出す。決して沈むことのないこの赤い太陽は、信念を貫くすべての人々の心の中にある光のようです。夜は長くても、前へ進む道を照らすことができます。公務員の制服の胸に五弁の桜のバッジが付いているのは、より深い国民精神を物語っています。明治時代に国章として選ばれて以来、桜の儚い美しさは全く異なる意味を与えられるようになりました。花全体が地面に落ちることは、正義のために犠牲を払うという武士の決意を象徴しています。核を包み込む5枚の花びらの形は、集団に統合しようとする個人の献身を意味します。 311の震災後、瓦礫の中で戦い続けた桜のバッジをつけた救助隊員たちのように、花びらのような一人ひとりの力が、国全体の回復力へと凝縮されている。東京の皇居前広場に立って、子供たちが拾った桜の花びらを国旗の砂絵にうやうやしく埋め込むのを見ながら、私は突然気づいた。赤い車輪の光が方向を導き、桜が私たちに歩き方を教えてくれるのだ。一枚一枚の花びらが太陽に向かって力強く咲くとき、一瞬の美しさは永遠のものとなる。太陽に向かって成長する希望と、泥と化す責任、これが文明継承の本当の意味なのかもしれない。

Just like the figure of the rescue team members wearing the cherry blossom badge fighting continuously in the ruins after the 311 earthquake, the individual power like petals condenses into the resilience of the entire nation. Standing in Tokyo Imperial Palace Square, watching a child reverently embed the cherry petals he picked up into a sand painting of the national flag, I suddenly realized: the light of the red wheel guides the direction, and the cherry blossoms teach us how to walk. When each petal blooms towards the sun, the momentary beauty creates eternity. This may be the true meaning of civilization inheritance: there is hope to grow towards the sun, but also the responsibility to fall into the mud.
